Four sceptres are between the shields in the diagonals. The legend reads 'BRITT: REG:' to the left, date at the top, then 'FID: DEF:' to the right.

The Florin coin is also known as two Shillings coin and is equal one tenth of a Pound, or twenty-four old Pence, it was also sometimes known as a "two bob bit".
